Witcher 3 cat School Gear | Cat, School & Feline Armor (Updated) 2023
The Witcher 3 cat school gear or the feline armor is the lightest assemblage in the game and is suitable for players who wish to dodge the enemies fast and keep their stamina restored at all times.
But to craft this gear, you will have to look for diagrams or blueprints for each part of the armor, scattered in different locations throughout the game for every version of the armor (basic, enhanced, superior, master crafted, and grandmaster). Sounds like a big task, right? But stress no more as this article will be your guide in finding all the diagrams quickly. There’s also a bonus treasure hunt method you can opt for, mentioned at the end of the article.
Table of Contents
Locations of Witcher 3 cat school gear Maps
The Witcher 3 cat armor can’t be used unless you reach level 10. And for the higher versions of the gear, you’ll need even higher ranks to be worthy of it. However, you can obtain it before using it and then utilize it once you fulfill the prerequisites.
If you still can’t reach the high levels where you can claim feline armor, then don’t be disheartened; instead, look for the Griffin armor set, which works with lower ranks too.
One more thing you should keep in mind, solely finding the feline armor location won’t suffice. After seeing the blueprints, you should hurry to the armorer or blacksmith, who would craft the set for you with certain raw materials that must be in your inventory. If you don’t have those items with you then, try dismantling some of your pre-owned elements; you would indeed find the raw materials from it.
Basic feline armor Witcher 3
Travel to the village of Blackbough. There you’ll find two merchants; the one in the northwest will sell you the map for locating the cat set diagrams. After that, you will get a new quest location in Novigrad, where you will have to go on an exploration around the hill to find the cave entrance.
Armor
Start by taking the left-most tunnel in the cave, turn all the statues inward to enter the secret trap door, and then loot the lab key at the bottom while ignoring the drowners. Then, return to the cave’s start and take the main route this time, where you’ll spot Galem. Behind it will be a gate that you could unlock, battle the mini-boss, and loot the blueprints.

But what’s additional is that you have to start this quest either by buying one of Adalbert Kermith’s maps or by looking for one of the cat school gear blueprints. You can get the first map from the Blackbough Merchant, the second map from the Blackbough Blacksmith, the third map from Crow’s Perch Quartermaster, and the fourth map from the Lindenvale armorer.
Quest stages:

- Crossbow – The chest is in the “Flying Stag” shipwreck.
- Silver Sword – A skeleton you’ll find in the Est Tayiar ruins.
- Steel Sword – The blueprint is in the basement of the Drahim Castle ruins.
- If the diary is found before the quest:

Conclusion
These are the only locations where you can find the Witcher 3 cat school gear. We hope this article helps you find the best light assemblage present in the game, and remember, if you are facing issues while finding the blueprint chests, then look for a wolf head symbol on the map as it will give you a fair idea of which area to search.
