Sims 4 Nintendo Switch

Sims 4 Nintendo Switch (Download) 2024 – Full Edition

For many people, Sims 4 has been a part of their lives for as long as they can remember. From the first version to the latest Sims 4 released in 2014.

Enthusiasts play the game for hours until you reach your goal, waiting to go home from school and check if your Sims have finished the job or wait for your new house’s construction. Sims is a game that brings nostalgia to many.

Over time, quite a few changes, updates, and renditions have made the game much more popular. EA has made the game available on 2 other consoles. Hence recently, the talk amongst the Sims world has been whether players should expect Sims 4 Nintendo Switch.

SIMS 4 NINTENDO SWITCH

Unfortunately, Sims 4 will not be coming to Nintendo Switch anytime soon. Although EA has brought many of its other games to the Switch, Sims 4 remains a big question mark.

The Sims is a game majorly known to run on PC only. However, over the years, it has migrated to other consoles. Since the Sims 4 release in 2014, it has migrated to PS4 and Xbox One in 2017. Since EA had released the Sims 4 on other consoles, players naturally thought the Sims 4 Nintendo Switch release date would soon follow.

Nintendo debuted only in 2017, and since then, numerous games have ported to the Switch. This has led to a massive increase in the number of games available for Switch players. So why not port Sims 4 to Nintendo Switch?

During an interview, the CEO of EA, Andrew Wilson, was asked about the release of Sims on the Nintendo switch. He stated that: “We have a lot of data that would suggest a great many Switch owners also own a PlayStation 4 or an Xbox One or a PC and very often choose to play the games that we make on those platforms, even though they have a Switch and they enjoy a lot of great content on the Switch.”

This statement goes against the fact that many ports to the Switch have been sold well and have gained a lot of excitement and enthusiasm. Some of these games are Doom and The Witcher 3. The decision not to get Sims 4 to Nintendo switch was based on its user base.

EA seems to have some bad blood when supporting the Switch. So far, only 12 games have made their way to the Switch console. Of which the majority seem to be the FIFA games.

It is quite possible that EA may change their minds in the future. “Cozy Games” have been gaining popularity among Switch players.

Hence, as much as players want it to happen, The Sims 4 Switch release date is not coming out anytime soon. For the time being, Sims 4 is available only on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
