• Unzip the file. For this, you can use any appropriate software if needed.
• In S4S, open the custom crib package.
• Then, select the warehouse tab and select footprint.
• Finally, import the footprint file and save it. 
• You can now use the custom invisible crib.

Sims 4 Invisible Crib Default

This mod does not make changes to the game. It simply adds new crib options. Invisible basic is now a default option while selecting the colors. The crib in this mod comes with visible anchors. However, in the live mode, that is, when the baby is in the crib, the anchors disappear.

The anchors appear only to make it easy for you to move around the object if necessary.

The mod offers you three crib options with an anchor and one choice of a fully transparent crib. 

One thing you need to take care of is to make sure that your Sim does not place the baby too far away from the edge. This will make it easy for the Sim parents to walk to their baby.

It is always possible to plan. Cribs are always available in the Buy mode in the kids’ furniture section. If you do not buy one in advance, the game will automatically generate a crib.

Another thing to note is that if you already have a baby and just wish to switch the crib, the mod will automatically replace the previous one.

(Mostly) Invisible Crib

You will not get 100% transparency with this mod, as the name suggests. This mod is a creation by Marion’s Simblr, which solves your issues with the invisible mod. After placing an invisible crib, moving them from the place they were first put in is impossible. Besides, it isn’t easy to see precisely where they have been put. 

To solve this issue, the creator placed a small white rectangle on top of the crib bed. Hence, now when you buy a crib in the buy mode, you will see a small rectangle hover instead of being invisible. This rectangle is hidden once you use your custom crib and the baby is placed in it.

With this small change, you can now easily access the cribs and move around.

Invisible Bassinet By Panda C

With this mod, you can now put your babies anywhere you please. Be it a bed, table, kitchen top, or their cribs. The bassinet comes with a bear, which has the use of a visual anchor. Without the bear, the crib would get lost. If you place an individual object, it is impossible to pick them up again.

Once the baby is there, you need to recolor the baby to an invisible color. Like this, the panda will disappear.

While downloading this invisible crib mod, you shall come across four folders. Each is unique and special, and it is up to you to decide which one you wish to include in the game.

The four folders available are:

Main Baby

This folder gives you just any other standard cc crib. The base game bassinet is included as a decorative timepiece. All human babies and alien babies require this folder to be there.

Rom Addon

This is for all the spell caster babies that are born in the invisible cribs. This folder comes with one issue. The baby anchor does not work. Hence, you will have to work around it. The only way to do this is to have the babies already at home with a bear crib ready on your Sim’s lot. 

Vamp Addon

This folder allows your Vampire babies to be born in the invisible crib. A similar issue like the RoM Addon is also faced in this folder. You will need to work around similarly and have the babies at home with the bear crib already present on the lot.

Alien Addon

This folder works with the Get To Work Expansion. This folder makes it possible for the purebred alien babies to be born in the invisible cribs. Inability to anchor the bear is still the primary issue. However, as stated in the previous folders, you need to have the babies at home with the bear crib already ready on the lot to work around the anchor situation.

The zip folder you need to download shall contain all the files. Later on, it is up to you which folder you need and which one you do not. However, you will need the Main Baby folder by default.

How do you get rid of an invisible crib Sims 4?

You can get rid of the invisible crib in two ways. The first way is to change the color. Some invisible crib mods have swatch options available. Hence that’s a straightforward way.

The other way is to delete it. You can eliminate the invisible crib just like any other item on your lot. It is nothing different. However, please make sure the anchors are on; otherwise, you will not be able to get rid of them or pick them up.
