This sims 4 apartments mod lets you browse for apartments on the city map. When you select an apartment building, you’ll see an up/down arrow beside that building.

This arrow allows you to see other floors, if the rental has multiple levels, meaning that this rental might be overpriced.

For moving into an apartment, your Sim must be able to afford the deposit amount (the cost for moving into the rental) as well as the weekly rent.

How to use apartment mod sims 4

Start using the city living apartment mod by following these steps:-

• Download the AllCheats mod created by Twisted Mexican.
• Register to the Sims 4 Studio website and download the entire program.
• Enable ‘testingcheats’ by typing in ‘testingcheats on’ in the cheat window.
• Make your Sim stand at the centre of an empty lot for better results.
• Open the Sims 4 Studio program without turning off the game.
• Click on the ‘Object’ button.
• On the top left of the screen, beside ‘Game Pack’, you’ll find a dropdown menu. Click on the down arrow and select ‘City Living’ out of the menu options.
• Hover your mouse over an object you like, say, a modern apartment building. You’ll see a string of alphanumeric characters.
• The object ID is the last 5 of these alphanumeric characters. To spawn the object, you’ll need this object ID.
• Open your game. In the cheat window, type ‘objects.gsi_create_obj 0x(enter object ID)’ and hit ‘Enter’.
• The apartment building will be placed on the empty lot. Go to Build Mode to make changes to the building the way you want. Search for elevators on the Gallery if you’re building an apartment with 2 or more floors.
• After you’ve decorated all the floors and the building, Shift-click on a floor, and click on ‘Teleport’. Your Sim will be teleported to that floor immediately.

Sims 4 Apartment building mod:T.O.O.L

T.O.O.L stands for Takes Objects Off Lot. Basically, it’s an edit apartment mod that lets you have complete control over the objects on your lot.

Whether these objects are on your lot or off it, you can easily control the object’s rotation and position.

Features

• 10×10 Grid Visualizer:- When you’re moving an object, a 10×10 grid visualizer is added. You can toggle this option off in the settings if you want to have the usual cross-axis visualizer.

• Snap to Terrain:- When you move an object, this feature will compel the object to reach the correct height from the ground.

• Point and Click Move:- You can mark any object as ‘active’, and then click it while holding the ‘Shift’ key to show where you want to place the object. The T.O.O.L mod will move the object to that position immediately.

• Snap Camera to Object:- After moving an object to a new location, this feature will move the camera as well, to that location.

Tips

• You need to enter ‘testingcheats true’ every time you want to use this sims 4 apartment mod. To avoid this, use the AlwaysTesting mod by Twisted Mexican.
• Shift-click anywhere on the ground to open up the Undo/Redo options and the Settings menu.
• You can change the visualizer colours from the Settings menu itself.
• Enter a pair of numbers, separated by a comma like (x, y), while moving an object. For example, -4, 9.
• While moving an object, move the camera to its left or right to make it easier to check that what you’re doing is right.

Installation

• Download the ts4script as well as the T.O.O.L package.
• Extract both of these into your Mods folder.
• Turn on mods in the Gameplay Options menu.

How to become a landlord

• Install NRaas SP-Money to be able to buy rental properties.
• Open the ‘Real Estate’ menu from your computer or phone.
• Select ‘Purchase Rental Lot’.
• Select a property that you’d like to buy. It may be an empty lot, or a lot that another Sim already owns.
• You’ll receive rent fees as well as pet fees from each NPC roommate that’s occupying the lot.
• Additionally, you’re also entitled to an equivalent rent payment from each such NPC roommate. In this way, you can own a huge apartment complex and collect rent from each apartment.
• Usually, while playing as a tenant, the rent fee is added to your biweekly bills when it’s time for rent payment. But with this mod, the rent fee will be automatically deducted from your household funds and will be sent to the apartment lot’s owner electronically.

How to move Sims into another Sim’s rental lot

• Go to Master Controller> Add Sim for moving your Sims into a rental lot. This won’t give them the cost price of the apartment building anymore.
• Use the move option on your phone or computer, or use the ‘Edit Town’ option to move your Sim. Start playing as a landlord, and then buy the apartment building. This will give the landlord the purchase price of the apartment building.

• View:- It lets you check who’s the owner of the lot, what the lot’s value is, and other information about the lot.

• Buy This Lot:-Purchase ownership of the lot.

• Sell This Lot:- If you’re the present owner of the lot, you can sell ownership of the lot to other Sims who are not living on the lot at present.

• Set Me The Owner“- This feature allows you to make the active Sim the lot’s owner.

• Rental fee:- This option is available to the owner of the lot, allowing him/ her to fix the rental fee to be paid by the tenant. It may be fixed by amount or by percentage.

• Transfer Ownership to (such and such Sim):- You can transfer the ownership of the lot to one of your Sim’s family members.

• Term of Payment:- This option is also available to the lot’s owner, allowing him/ her to fix the term of payment of the tenant. The payment may be done daily at 12 PM, or weekly, i.e. every Wednesday.

Gameplay instructions

• Buy a residential deed in Buy Mode for this apartment lot type mod to work.
• To make the active Sim the lot’s first owner, click on ‘Set me the Owner’.
• Click on the lot to find the ‘Sell This Lot’ option.
• After you select a buyer or landlord for the lot, the amount of the lot value will be deducted from the new landlord’s family fund and added to yours. The residential deed will also be added to the new landlord’s inventory.
• When you’re playing as the landlord, you can set the term of payment and the rental fee from your inventory. You’ll automatically receive the rental fee from the tenant.

Uninstall instructions

• Before removing this sims 4 landlord mod from your Downloads folder, return the ownership of the lot to your tenants.
• You might have forgotten to follow the above instruction. In that case, you can reset the lot’s ownership by playing as a tenant, then start a Home Business and shut it down.
